There’s a special energy that lives in Vancouver. It’s the quiet confidence of builders who create companies between mountain trails and ocean air. The founders who ship products while the rest of the world is still waking up. The leaders who grow real businesses without losing the lifestyle that makes this city magnetic.
From November 3–6, that energy is coming into the studio.
Canada’s Podcast will be set up in our Vancouver podcast studio, recording conversations with local entrepreneurs, founders, and business leaders. These aren’t surface-level chats. We’re here to capture the real stories — the late nights, the pivots, the quiet wins, and the hard-earned lessons that only people building companies on the West Coast truly understand.
I’ll be hosting these conversations myself. My name is Robert Szmigiel, and I’ve spent years sitting across from founders and operators who are quietly building remarkable companies. What I love most about these interviews is the moment the real story comes out — the part that doesn’t show up on a pitch deck or LinkedIn profile. That’s the conversation we’re here to have in Vancouver.
Your interview won’t just stay local. It will receive international coverage through our sister platforms — Europe’s Podcast and Emirates Podcast — giving your story reach across Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. This is a genuine opportunity to put your journey in front of a global audience of entrepreneurs, investors, and decision-makers.
If you’d like to be featured while we’re in Vancouver, now is the time to reach out. Studio time is limited, and the calendar is filling up.

While the spotlight is on Vancouver… give your business a digital boost
Being on a podcast is one way to put your story in front of new audiences. Strengthening your digital presence is another — and right now there’s a practical way to do both.
The Digital Business Grant offers up to $4,200 to help eligible businesses improve their digital marketing and online presence. It covers 70% of approved project costs (you cover the remaining 30%).
Who can apply?
- Registered or incorporated for-profit business
- Operates in the service industry
- Generated at least $100,000 in revenue in the most recent tax year
- Primarily offline (most customer interactions happen in person)
- Has not previously received this grant (or the earlier Boost Your Business Technology / Grow Your Business Online grants)
Retail stores, restaurants, marketing agencies, and certain brokerage businesses are not eligible. Full details live at digitalbusinessgrant.com.
What the grant can cover:
- Digital marketing strategy work with an approved consultant
- SEO to improve how your site ranks
- SEO-focused website content updates
- Website design or redesign that improves usability, performance, and search visibility
It does not cover paid ads, hardware, or expenses incurred before approval.
For many Vancouver founders, this is the perfect moment to tighten up the digital side of the business while the conversations are happening. A stronger online presence means the stories we record in the studio have somewhere powerful to land — and the right people can find you long after the microphones are packed away.
So if you’re building something meaningful in Vancouver and want the world to hear about it, let’s talk.
Reach out to me at robert@canadaspodcast.com to book your interview slot for November 3–6.
And while you’re at it, take a look at the Digital Business Grant. Two opportunities. One focused week on the West Coast.
The mic is open. The city is ready. Let’s capture the stories that deserve to travel.
