Robert Szmigiel was born and raised in Vancouver and grew up there until he was 18. He then moved to California and got his BA degree in Marketing and Advertising from San Jose State University. He currently lives and operates Vancouver’s podcast while working internationally for companies in Canada, Costa Rica, Antigua, Malta, US, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Panama. He has won several international awards for his work on directing brands and marketing.
Philip Bliss is a business visionary, entrepreneur, digital marketing pioneer and a board-level executive. Angela is a mobilizing speaker, impact coach, promoter & author who LOVES to empower purpose-driven individual & geographically connected property owners to imagine & build “Places Worth Living For”. Angela leverages her own 10x Mindset, plus core competencies of business building, destination development and public relations to help others break through ‘building blocks’ and access maximum happiness, social impact and profits through “place”. Mario Toneguzzi, based in Calgary, has 37 years of experience as a daily newspaper writer, columnist and editor. He worked for 35 years at the Calgary Herald covering sports, crime, politics, health, city and breaking news, and business. For 12 years as a business writer, his main beats were commercial and residential real estate, retail, small business and general economic news. He now works on his own as a freelance writer and consultant in communications and media relations/training.
Bonnie Elgie has over 20 years of public relations experience working with inspiring entrepreneurs, innovative organizations and dedicated non-profits. Originally starting her career in media, she’s developed strong relationships with journalists and influencers in a variety of markets and industries. As a sole practitioner, she believes in the power of relationships, connection and collaboration. Whether the goal is promoting a brand to customers, marketing B2B services, or inspiring communities to support a charity, she helps to tell stories that inspire action.
Lesley is an experienced Project Manager and communications professional, with over 10 years experience working in the Public sector. She has worked as a Project Manager with numerous municipalities and not-for-profit organizations, including the City of Hamilton, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Ontario Parks. She is a skilled communicator and relationship manager, striving to build connections and engagement with organizations and managing client expectations to deliver exceptional results. Lesley holds a Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences from the University of Waterloo and a Project Management Certificate from Humber College. She is tenacious with a keen attention to detail which allows her to assure quality on all projects. Lesley leads our business development, client engagement, social media marketing, and is also a host on Canada’s Podcast.

He is a frequent public speaker on the topic of digital media and leadership and has done a TED talk.
Andrea Sesum is a founder of Ontario College of Business & Law, co-founder of Technology Factory, founder of Women’s Paralegal Association of Ontario, passionate & innovative entrepreneur, educator, board member, author, keynote speaker and winner of 2015 City of Toronto Access, Equity & Human Rights Constance E. Focusing on the advancement of women in the legal profession & career advancement of immigrants in Toronto, Andrea was noted as the CSPN’s Leader in Diversity & Inclusion.
Sandra grew up in Quebec and, after graduating from Bishop’s University, moved to Toronto to participate in the elite entrepreneurship program called The Next 36. It was during her career that she deepened her knowledge and love of entrepreneurship. Since then, she has collaborated with startups and companies in several industries to help executives reach their sales objectives by optimizing their operations.
Sylvie Bougie is member of Quebec Bar and practices business and commercial law since 2006. In 2009, she went into business and founded, a few years later, the firm Vigi legal services. Since then, the firm is growing and is dedicated to business law. The firm won a Jarret in the category of professional services during 2019’s Edition of Le Gala de l’entreprise beauceronne.
Sylvie has many involvements in the entrepreneurial community of Quebec. Among others, she contributes to “Centre de transfert d’entreprises”, “Ressources Entreprises” and “Entrepreneuriat Laval”. She’s also member of the board of “J’Entreprends Québec”, a non-profit organization whose mission is to generate the entrepreneurial spark and create a unifying entrepreneurial culture, and board member, secretary and responsible of programing of “Association Femmes Entrepreneures Québec”. whose mission is to promote, develop and support women’s entrepreneurship, as a lever to sustain economic development of Quebec City Area.
