Robert Szmigiel was born and raised in Vancouver and grew up there until he was 18. He then moved to California and got his BA degree in Marketing and Advertising from San Jose State University. He currently lives and operates Vancouver’s podcast while working internationally for companies in Canada, Costa Rica, Antigua, Malta, US, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Panama. He has won several international awards for his work on directing brands and marketing.

A serial entrepreneur who dabbled in corporate for a decade, she has over 15 years experience working with fast growing organizations, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. She is a trusted advisor to investors, universities, and Fortune 500 companies alike. She is sought after for her expertise in accelerating performance, designing culture, improving emotional intelligence, and facilitating effective communication.
Angie Barnard is privileged to come from thriving small towns in the maritimes and prairies of Canada, with her greatest influences being three primary parents (and we all know the strength of a 3-legged stool). A grain farmer, her Dad helped influenced Angie’s strong sense of place. From top executive to seriel entrepreneur, her Mom helped instill Angie’s sense of leadership and accountability. As a business owner, travel agent and guide, her 2nd Mom designed experiences for people locally and globally, and nurtured Angie’s gift of inspiring people and creating magic!
Mario Toneguzzi, based in Calgary, has 37 years of experience as a daily newspaper writer, columnist and editor. He worked for 35 years at the Calgary Herald covering sports, crime, politics, health, city and breaking news, and business. For 12 years as a business writer, his main beats were commercial and residential real estate, retail, small business and general economic news. He now works on his own as a freelance writer and consultant in communications and media relations/training.
Bonnie Elgiehas over 20 years of public relations experience working with inspiring entrepreneurs, innovative organizations and dedicated non-profits. Originally starting her career in media, she’s developed strong relationships with journalists and influencers in a variety of markets and industries. As a sole practitioner, she believes in the power of relationships, connection and collaboration. Whether the goal is promoting a brand to customers, marketing B2B services, or inspiring communities to support a charity, she helps to tell stories that inspire action.
