Robert Szmigiel
Founder of Canada’s Podcast
Robert Szmigiel was born and raised in Vancouver, where he lived until the age of 18. He then moved to California and earned his BA in Marketing and Advertising from San Jose State University.
Today he is based in Vancouver, where he founded and continues to operate Canada’s Podcast and Vancouver Entrepreneur — giving founders and entrepreneurs across the country a national platform to share their stories. Alongside this, Robert works internationally with companies in Canada, the United States, Costa Rica, Antigua, Malta, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Panama.
With more than 20 years of experience in brand strategy, marketing and business growth, he has directed campaigns and built companies that scale across borders. Robert has received several international awards for his work in brand direction and marketing.
He is also the founder of Europe’s Podcast and Emirates Podcast, creating a growing international network that connects entrepreneurs across continents. Robert is passionate about authentic conversations — drawing out the real stories, lessons and insights that help founders and business owners build, grow and make an impact.
